“The 2013 Trinity School Spotlight on Art,” by Shane Dobes

Every year, Trinity School in Atlanta, Georgia, brings artists from around the southeastern United States together and helps them to reach art lovers with its Spotlight on Art. In 2013, Spotlight will stretch from January to February and will include 350 artists working in sculpture, jewelry, pottery, and other forms.

The festivities began in late 2012 with a gallery event at Saks Fifth Avenue at Phipps Plaza. Spotlight kicks off officially on February 4 with the Artists Market at Trinity School; this event will feature pieces ranging in price from $5 to $5,000. On February 16, Spotlight wraps up with a 650-guest gala and auction.

Proceeds from Spotlight on Art benefit Trinity School scholarships and teacher education. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to a charity selected by Trinity School students.
